Haleakala National Park
Haleakala National Park - go for the sunrise or sunset.
NOTE: As of February 2017 you need to make a reservation for a Sunrise visit between 3am - 7am.

- Starting on Feb. 1, 2017, sunrise (3-7am) viewing reservations are required and are only available at Haleakala sunrise reservations. The cost is $1.50 per car. Can be made up to 60 days in advance online only.
- You need to allow 2-2.5 hours from the Kaanapali area plus trying to be there 30 minutes prior to sunrise.
- All park visitors are required to purchase a recreational use pass upon entering Haleakalā National Park. Passes are non-transferable. DAILY PASSES - Daily passes are non-transferable and are valid for 3 days including the date of purchase. Private Vehicle: $25. Valid for 3 days. Please use credit cards for payment of entry fees at the Summit and Kīpahulu entrance stations.
Ocean front Restaurants
These restaurants are located on or the near the water which is one of our basic rules for dining on Maui, especially on the West Side. These restaurant's are considered "Casual elegant" to "Fine Dining". The list is generated by location and starts in the North and heads South to Lahaina.
